Commercial For DVDs in NYC & LA

We've added another week in NYC for the 30-second commercial spot for my DVDs to run, starting tonight, and starting tomorrow night, it begins it's run in Los Angeles.

If you live in Manhattan or in LA between downtown and the ocean, here's when to look for the ad:

Tonight on Adult Swim, tomorrow night on Comedy Central, Thursday night on Adult Swim, then Friday and Saturday nights on Comedy Central. It'll be running once per hour between Midnight and 3AM on each night.

Also, Consumption Junction has posted the original "uncensored" version on their video page.

Incidentally...you can order my DVDs directly from me by going to www.joechrist.com

Thanks. Los reactors guitarist Roger Scott might have some cassette tapes from live shows we did, which would probably have a bunch of unreleased stuff. The live material on the "Dead In The Suburbs" album came from cassette tapes belonging to Roger.

We may do a brief reunion, to headline one of the nights of the Dot Dash Festival in New York in late July. If so, we'll also probably do a show in Tulsa, too.

I'd suggested to the other guys that we do a full tour, and Ripoff Records seemed to think it was a good idea, too...but, it doesn't look like it'll happen. (The label was trying to get Los Reactors on a tour of Europe & Japan, as well.) As it is, since the other 3 guys still live in Tulsa, and I live in Atlanta, I'm going to have to take some time from creating & promoting my other projects to go to Tulsa to rehearse for the one or two shows we may do.

Incidentally, the song "Dead In The Suburbs" will be heard in my new movie, "That's Just Wrong!", coming out this Spring.

When I lived in Dallas in the mid-to-late '80's, Los Reactors bassist Tommy Waggoner was there, too, and played in another band with me, Joe Christ & The Healing Faith. Some of that material will be on my upcoming CD from Long Live Crime Records.

Yes, to both questions. Email me and I'll reply with Roger's email address, and if you'd like, you can email me interview questions, etc to: flamingauto@yahoo.com

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Stumbled across your livejournal looking for something completely different. Wanted to say hello to you and Nancy. Saw one of your films at DragonCon ('98). It made me physically ill and I left the room. (But not in the way Christian Slater's movie "Kuffs" did.) Great job. Going to catch up on your work.
Thanks for being you and doing what you do.
